Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Margaret, owner of Tiny House Ceramics grew up in Rhinebeck, New York. She had incredible influence from her very creative mother, Valerie & late grandmother also named Margaret but commonly went by "Peg". They both enjoyed & continue to draw, paint, create mosaic tile & glass art. They knit anything from an afghan or scarf to a beautiful rug or wall hanging. Including sew everything from curtains to bedsheets to table clothes. Along with one of a kind dresses, jumpers, aprons & cute outfits. Valerie was also a captain in the US Army & is still one tough cookie.
Our Story
In 2015 Margaret decided to build a tiny house & with help from her family & friends she completed the project in ten and half months. The building process was later featured on HGTV's Tiny House Big Living and has also been seen featured in both Rhinebeck & the Hudson Valley magazines Living Rhinebeck and The Chronogram. Margaret lived in her tiny house for over seven years creating art & experimenting with her craft. In 2018 Margaret started her own pottery business & built two additional structures in order to have a dedicated pottery studio & shed for her kiln.
